Donald Trump bought this property in Palm Beach, Florida in 1985 and converted it into a members-only club.

Before setting his sights on the White House, Donald Trump put his money to some of America’s most exclusive buildings to create his real estate empire. The Mar-a-Lago Club is now one of the most impressive social clubs in the country.

Although anyone is allowed to apply for membership, the club requires a non-refundable $100,000 membership fee, $14,000 in yearly dues, and another $2,000 a year for food.

This 6-Star Diamond Award winning club sits on 20 acres of stunning lawns and incredible views. With European-inspired indoor and terrace dining, an oceanfront swimming pool, a top-of-the-line salon, and spa, and a Grand Ballroom that is lined with $7 million worth of gold leaf, it offers its members access to the luxury and exclusivity they desire. Not only are the Trumps regular patrons, but the club has also hosted other famous people like James Taylor and “Daily Mail” writer Ronald Kessler.
